Beontag – Viking Slim Wirepas
The Beontag Viking Slim Wirepas is a Bluetooth Low Energy beacon that is battery powered and designed for asset tracking and IoT applications in large-scale environments. It utilizes the unique Wirepas Massive protocol and software stack, which allows for easy scalability and large coverage. With the ability to route data between devices and the back-end system, this beacon provides reliable and efficient communication. The device features a Nordic Semiconductor NRF52832 SOC, 512 kB FLASH memory, and 64 kB RAM. It also includes built-in sensors such as a temperature sensor, LED, and hall switch, with an optional accelerometer.
The Beontag Viking Slim Wirepas has a read range of up to 100 meters and is powered by a replaceable CR2477 coin battery. With its high-quality PC/ASA housing and IP64 enclosure rating, it is resistant to environmental conditions and can be attached to any surface.
