The Bin Tag by HID Global is a robust RFID transponder specifically engineered for the demanding environments of waste management. Each Bin Tag transponder is built to withstand harsh conditions, offering superior resistance to water, salt mist, mineral oil, and petroleum. Additionally, these transponders exhibit high tolerance to shock and temperature variations, ensuring reliable performance in diverse settings. The unique four-cavity spanner screw drive feature helps prevent unauthorized removal of tags, enhancing security and data integrity.
Organizations can choose from different frequencies and memory capacities based on their reader configuration or standards requirements. The Bin Tag transponders are available in low-frequency (LF), high-frequency (HF), or RAIN® UHF tags. The LF transponders come with 64-bit or 128-bit read-only memory, while the HF version includes 1024-bit EEPROM, and the UHF version provides a 512-bit user memory plus 96-bit EPC for read-write capability.
These transponders are designed to be easily installed into standard nests in various waste bins, including metal bins and DIN 30745 plastic bins. For plastic containers, all Bin Tag transponders perform exceptionally well. In cases where metallic composition might interfere with reading, specialized RFID Tags are available for consistent performance on metal bins. The Bin Tag family of transponders ensures optimal data integrity, withstands abuse, and aids waste management organizations in achieving efficient and effective waste tracking and recycling initiatives.

The Beontag Ferrowave Classic is an RFID on-metal label designed specifically for packaging and component tracking. It is a UHF RFID/EPCglobal Gen2v2 device that operates at frequencies of 865-869MHz (ETSI) and 902-928MHz (FCC). The label utilizes Impinj Monza R6-P, Impinj Monza 4E, or NXP UCODE 8m IC types, each with different memory configurations. The label’s electrical specification includes unique random EPC in every label for Monza R6-P and NXP UCODE 8m, and the same EPC in every label for Monza 4E. The read range varies depending on the surface material, with ranges of up to 12m for glass, 5m for plastic, 4m for metal, and 2m for liquid.
The label is printable on white PET with a high-performance acrylic adhesive for easy installation. It weighs only 0.8g and comes in a reel format with 800 good labels.
