SIVA – Rhino HT-HTP 7525 FCC RAIN RFID Hard Tag

The SIVA Rhino HT-HTP 7525 FCC is a hermetically sealed RAIN RFID hard tag constructed from PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) engineering polymer, designed for asset tracking in demanding North American industrial environments where parts undergo repeated high-temperature heating cycles of up to 180°C, exposure to acids, alkalis, and solvents, and prolonged submersion. Operating at FCC 902–928 MHz on the Alien Higgs 9 IC with 496-bit EPC, 48-bit TID, and 688-bit user memory, it delivers 9 m / 29.5 ft read range on metal, making it suited for industrial ovens, heat treatment lines, chemical processing, automotive paint and cure processes, and manufacturing environments operating under FCC frequency regulations.

Distinct from the Xtreme variant, the HT-HTP 7525 FCC uses a PPS housing rather than PEEK, providing continuous peak temperature tolerance of +180°C / +356°F and a 30-minute tolerance up to +200°C / +392°F, along with chemical resistance validated to 24 hours in hydrochloric acid (10%), sulfuric acid (10%), and sodium hydroxide (5%), and 72 hours in ethanol, acetone, and motor oil. Its IP68 rating is verified at 1 m depth for 5 hours. At 75 x 25 x 8.5 mm and 34 g with pre-moulded 3.5 mm holes, it mounts directly to metal using M3 screws or 3 mm pop rivets with flush contact required for optimal read performance. Vibration resistance is validated to JESD22-B103B service condition 2 on the z-axis. Each box contains 100 100%-tested tags, packaged 5 boxes per carton, under part number RF.HT.7525.F.H9. Customer-specific EPC and user memory pre-encoding are available on request.

Benefits

Stays Mounted Through 180°C Industrial Process Cycles

The PPS housing and hermetic seal keep the tag intact and readable through paint cure ovens, heat treatment furnaces, and high-temperature assembly processes at up to 180°C continuously, removing the need to detag and retag parts before each production run.

Survives Repeated 280°C Heating Cycles Without Tag Replacement

The PEEK housing and hermetic seal allow the tag to stay permanently mounted on metal parts through powder coating ovens, heat treatment furnaces, and autoclave sterilisation cycles repeatedly, eliminating the cost and labour of removing and re-applying tags before each process run.

9-Metre FCC Read Range on Metal for Wide Coverage

At 9 m on metal under FCC power limits, the HT-HTP 7525 FCC reads tagged parts from a full bay or line distance, enabling fixed readers to cover large work cells, conveyor spans, or storage racks without requiring workers to present tags individually to a scanner.
