Xingligao Automotive Parts, a supplier to Bosch, faced the challenge of managing traceability in its complex manufacturing process, where quality incidents could lead to costly product recalls. To mitigate this risk, the company implemented Xerafy’s RFID-based track and trace system, using the MICRO Industrial RFID tag. The tags, resistant to high temperatures and chemicals, were mounted on product carriers, allowing fixed RFID readers on production lines to capture and store data about each product batch. This system provides detailed, real-time traceability from manufacturing to delivery, reducing recall incidents and improving response times. RFID technology enabled Xingligao to enhance quality control, minimize costs, and ensure reliable product information throughout the supply chain.
