SIVA – Sprintt-Slim RAIN RFID Race Timing Tag
The SIVA Sprintt-Slim is a 1.6 mm thin UHF RAIN RFID foam tag from the Sprintt Race Timing Solutions series, purpose-built for affixing directly onto race number bibs for marathon, triathlon, running event, and mass participation race timing applications. Built on the Impinj M830 Dogbone IC and operating at ETSI 865–928 MHz with 128-bit EPC and 96-bit TID memory, it delivers 18 m / 59.05 ft read range in free air and 4 m / 13.12 ft read range on the human body, enabling reliable chip detection at finish lines, timing mats, and intermediate split points even when bibs move during running.
At 98 x 30 x 1.6 mm on a white PE foam face with high-performance permanent adhesive, the Sprintt-Slim is thin and flexible enough to sit flat on a paper bib without creating bulk or discomfort for the athlete. Its transparent release liner is designed specifically for easy gap sensing on thermal transfer printers, making it compatible with major industrial RFID printers for on-demand bib encoding and printing in a single pass. Installation is straightforward: the tag is placed on the back of the race bib at the pre-identified location, pressed firmly from center outward for full adhesive contact, with safety pins placed at the bib corners only, not over the tag.
Each reel ships 1,000 100%-tested labels with a label pitch of 33 mm, packaged 2,000 pcs per box. IP67 rated and operating from -35°C to +85°C, the Sprintt-Slim performs reliably in outdoor race conditions including rain and wet weather.
