FEIG ID ANT.MUX.5 / ID ANT.MUX.M5 HF 5 Channel Multiplexer
The FEIG ID ANT.MUX.5 and ID ANT.MUX.M5 are HF 5-channel RFID multiplexers that expand a single reader output to up to 5 antenna connections at 13.56 MHz. Designed for installations where one reader must service multiple read zones, both models communicate with the reader directly over the antenna cable — no additional wiring required. When paired with the FEIG ID LR(M)5400 Long Range Reader, the system scales to support up to 20 antennas total. The ID ANT.MUX.5 ships in an IP65-rated industrial housing; the ID ANT.MUX.M5 is available as a bare module for embedded integration.

Benefits
A single RFID reader output expands to 5 independently addressed antenna ports. Paired with the ID LR(M)5400, the system reaches up to 20 antennas — covering large facilities without additional readers or infrastructure.
The reader communicates with the multiplexer entirely through the existing antenna cable. No additional data cables or control connections are needed, reducing installation time and points of failure on the line.
Electronic switching at under 1 ms cycles through all connected antennas without mechanical parts. There is nothing to wear out, and each antenna switch is individually confirmed by a dedicated status LED.
