The Janam XR2 is an Android 13 handheld UHF RFID reader powered by the Impinj E710 chip, reading more than 1,300 EPC Class 1 Gen 2 tags per second at a normal read range of 60+ ft. / 18.2+ m. Designed for high-volume retail, logistics, manufacturing, warehouse operations, and healthcare, it combines RFID with a Honeywell N5703 1D/2D imager, 4G LTE Dual-SIM with optional JanamConnect multi-carrier intelligent SIM, Wi-Fi 6 ready, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 9000 mAh battery in an IP67-sealed device weighing less than 24 oz. The 5 dBi circular antenna supports both tag reading and tag writing, and the Corning Gorilla Glass touch panel accepts finger, gloved finger, and stylus input with water droplet rejection.
